There are reports this afternoon of multiple people being shot in Port-of-Spain shortly before 3 pm today.
Guardian Media understands the shootings began on the corner of Prince and George streets where gunmen wounded three people and shot one woman dead.

The gunmen, in a black Nissan Tiida, were accosted by police and up until 3.30 pm, there were reports that three gunmen were shot dead by police.
In another incident around 1 pm, a gunman in a passing car began shooting at a group of people standing along Erica Street in Laventille. A five-year-old boy in the group was shot in his leg and taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital for treatment.
